Silvana Mau, a dedicated Master of Counselling student at Yorkville University, is currently undertaking her practicum at the Counselling Support Centre. Specializing in online counseling sessions, Silvana caters to young adults (18+), adults, and seniors.
Silvana's therapeutic approach is rooted in strength-based, client-centered methods that foster encouragement, support, and empowerment. Creating a non-judgmental, empathetic, and safe space, she invites clients to share and explore their insights and experiences. Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including emotion-focused therapy, solution-focused therapy, experiential therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Silvana collaborates with her clients to address their unique needs and achieve their goals. She considers it an honor to partner with clients on their healing, self-discovery, and empowerment journeys.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Silvana enjoys spending quality time with her family, shuttling her children to sporting and music practices, indulging in reading, and connecting with friends.
