Education
Jasmine (Jas) is a certified professional counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a qualifying provisional psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Calgary.
Experience
With over a decade of experience, Jas is passionate about supporting people from all backgrounds and stages of life. She has helped individuals navigate challenges such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, addiction, and unresolved childhood trauma. Jas is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore feelings like guilt, shame, fear, worry, low self-esteem, and stress—and find a path forward that feels right for them.
Therapeutic Techniques
In her work, Jas draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychotherapy. She believes that therapy should never be one-size-fits-all and is committed to tailoring each session to meet the unique needs, goals, and values of the person sitting across from her.
