Meet Jessa

I’m Jessa, a Master of Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University. I am a qualifying counsellor and also a registered student member with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
I hold a BA in Psychology from the University of Alberta. Prior to counselling, I gained valuable experience in roles ranging from sales to early childhood education and healthcare. These varied experiences have shaped my understanding of resilience, human connection, and the many ways people navigate both everyday stress and significant life challenges. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, non-judgmental space for people.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, relationship and family dynamics, life transitions, and those impacted by past experiences or unresolved emotions.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and compassionate, drawing from solution-focused and psychodynamic perspectives. I tailor each session to the unique needs of the person in front of me .
